Diary of Bil Ghostcouncil, Day 21-24

I totally forgot to post the rest of bils adventure. I haven’t played more, so this is all I have so far.

27th of Sandstone 125
We traveled the whole day to the town Watchdwelling.

28th of Sandstone 125
After sunrise I recruited two more men and head off to kill Milo Bowpacks. A short travel later we arrived at his camp. I was a little bit worried about the number of his men, but we rushed through them. Maybe it was luck or pure skill of my men and myself, but the fight didn’t last long. My companions were injured, I hope they recover fast. We heard of more outlaws, while we spoke with the townspeople. So I guess tomorrow will be filled with a lot of justice!

29th of Sandstone 125
The outlaws we are supposed to kill are Desli Cobraentranced and Stathra Watchbeers. Both in camps not too far from Watchdwelling. I also heard, that Pebu Trimcarry wants to speak with us again. So I guess we’ll visit him too, but I’m not sure if we can get to Marbleskinny today, it’s a long trip.

Both went down quite easy, it was over in minutes, but I’m tired now. I think we will rest for today in Watchdwelling and then head to Marbleskinny next thing in the morning.

30th of Sandstone 125
Travelled the whole day to see Pebu Trimcarry and discovered a camp of bandits on our way, but we didn’t feel the need to clear it. Before speaking to Pebu, I recruited more men to help my cause and I have the feeling, that I might need them. She sends me to kill “a criminal mastermind” as she puts it; her people are “living in fear”. Well, I guess I will kill Thob Paddlegolds the dwarf ringleader then. She sais I can find him in Handconstruct a day’s travel to the south. But before I will head off, we all will get a good nights sleep. Traveling is exhausting.

26th of Sandstone 125

Today I will get my revenge, but first I have to recruit warriors who are willing to fight beside me to avenge their fallen brethren.

It didnt take long to find brave men and women who were willing to follow my call, I guess my heroic acts also helped. My companions are (killed in action):

I’ve lost six, but killed at least as many. My revenge is complete.
In the halls, where I recruited my new companions, I spoke to a lady. She sends me off to Roomyurges to kill Milo Bowpacks the boss. So I guess, I will do that…

25th Sandstone 125

Edri Wealthlakes is dead! It wasn’t easy and I’ve lost all of my companions.

After arriving at Lawtyphoon, we scouted the area for an entrance to the catacombs. We found a site called The Perplexing Abbey, which is some kind of temple here. We went downstairs and inside, and shortly after, we were confronted by dwarfs and elfs attacking us. It was like we punched into a bees nest. We fought, struck some of them down, but they also killed my men. I was in defense, throwing arrows, attacked here and there, but slowly made my way back to the outside. Every single one of my companions who went into a full front attack was struck down, or I lost sight of them. So I made my way back outside. Dolil, my Lasher companion, was still outside. I told him to retreat, but he didnt listen, he went in. I tried to help him, cover his back, but he was swarmed, by macemen and the boss, Edri Wealthlakes. It didnt take long, and Dolil was dead. So I retreated again, but repeatedly threw arrows at the boss and a dwarf maceman, who was with him. I thought, that maybe, when he follows me outside, I might be able to kill him one on one. So I made my way back up, throwing arrows at him. Fortunately for me, all the towncats somehow wanted to join in on the battle. They ran down the temple and threw themselves at the maceman and the boss. This made it easier for me. I waited, attacked when the time seemed right. The cats were only a minor distraction for the boss, he slaughtered them all, it only took him a few seconds to kill them. A few strikes with his spear and a cat was dead, but it gave me precious time. As we made our way back up to the surface, I still threw arrows at him and surely, he stepped out of the way of one arrow and stumpled down, but unfortunately he survived the fall, he wasn’t even wounded. He came again, slowly making his way upstairs towards me, as he was slaughtering cats. Finally, we arrived at the surface.

I don’t know anything about this town, but all I can say is, that it’s animals are brave. Maybe braver than it’s men. As we emerged to the surface, they attacked. They somehow saw, or just knew, that I needed their help. So as the boss was busy fighting, slaughtering all the pigs, dogs, hens, cats, who threw themselfes at him, I saw my chance to win this fight. I laid down, crawled underneath a cat, to reach the boss and slashed him in his right upper leg with my iron short sword. It sailed off in an arc! This was it, I turned the fight around, it was now in my favor, but I still had to be cautious. The animals, somehow noticing that, were more passive now. The boss was retreating. I charged after him, hacked him in his right hand with my silver battle axe, cutting it off. He lost his copper shield, making it, again, easier for me. I struck at him, but he parried. I struck again and it landed. I slashed into his head from behind with my iron short sword, shattering his skull. My sword lodged firmly in his head.

As he went down, I pulled it back out. The boss was no more. Edri Wealthlakes had been struck down. As trophies I collected his iron spear and copper shield, both of masterful quality. I will now rest, but I will go down into the catacombs first thing tomorrow morning, avenging my fallen comrades.

23rd Sandstone 125
I have met with Pebu Trimcarry today in her fortress Marbleskinny. She wants me to kill Thora Commonrhymed, who is supposed to be in Spiceuncles, a hamlet half a day’s travel to the west.On our way there, we traveled through a camp, where Bil Valecircle and his bandits wanted to kill us. It didnt went as they would have planed. The people in the near town are happy to know, that Bil Valecircle is dead.

24th Sandstone 125
Today we raided the camp of Thora Commonrhymed. The people of the near towns wont have to worry anymore, for now she is dead. After reporting her death to Pebu Trimcarry, she sends me on another quest. Now I’m supposed to explore the Pleat of Tumors, the catacomps, to find Edri Wealthlakes the dwarf boss.The catacombs are located in Lawtyphoon. She sais he is a criminal mastermind and needs to be stopped imediately, so we started traveling immediately. We arrived at the neighboring hamlet Rooterknighted at dusk and it was raining. So we spent there the night, to set off again in the morning.
